MySQL is my favorite RDBMS, and I believe it is loved by many people as well these days. This RDBMS is fast, secure, stable and entirely FREE as it is continuously contributed and developed by the open source community.
Still, it is definitely not a game for novice users and beginners since it requires users geeky stuff such as programming skill, SQL knowledge, and database concepts in order to manage and use it.
Meanwhile, spreadsheet is completely easier and preferred by both novice and experienced users. You can open a spreadsheet using any spreadsheet application on any operating system these days and work with it with ease.
So in case you have data stored in MySQL but don’t want to struggle with geeky stuff, converting it to a spreadsheet file such as Excel might be the best option. You can read tips in the post Connecting Excel to MySQL to do.
