Identify Active Processes Quickly Using Assassin SE

Assassin SESometimes you want know exactly which process is running on your computer and execute during the startup. Instead of using the default process manager which is lack of necessary information, you may use Assassin SE.

Assassin SE is an application which will scan your computer then identify and rate all active processes on your computer. It supports a wide range of Windows: Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista.

After installing, the application automatically scans all active processes during startup and then display the information about them in a result table. All identified processes are ranged from safe to malicious and unknown so it is probably easy to identify a suspected process which may be a Trojan or a rootkit. Windows system processes are not listed in the result table in order to give you a better overview of the non-system processes which are active.

Once Assassin SE gets a suspected process, you can apply actions: ignore – this is the default value; close – just simply kill the process; delete – the application will try to delete the file so that the file can’t be executed any more.

Assassin SE is really helpful to check and find a suspected process. It can be a good replacement to the windows default process manager.
