Do Multiple Things On Your Browser Using Quix Bookmarklet

Do Multiple Things On Your Browser Using Quix Bookmarklet I love bookmarklets because they are safe and lovely. Actually, they are just small java scripts stay innocently in your bookmark in your browser. Besides, almost all bookmarklets can run properly on any browser.

If you are so tired of addons or plugins which might slow down your browser and even consume most your system resource, try bookmarklets which offers the same functions. One bookmarklet I believe you will love it (I have to admit that I love it at the first glance) is Quix.

It truly does nothing when you click on the bookmarklet. It simply display a textbox and you can type some commands to do such as ‘tn’ to tweet the current URL or ‘bitly’ to shorten the current URL. Or you can type ‘help’ to see the list of available commands.

But the thing makes Quix significant is that you can extend the list of command without any effort. There are some simple rules you must follow to write your own command, but it just takes only a few minutes to master all of them.
