People usually keep sensitive data within a folder and then try to hide it using system tweaks or third party applications. Meanwhile, some are likely to stored all those data in a disk and hide it because they believe it is easier to maintain as well as simpler to do.
Manually you can get this task done with some Registry hacks, but it is not recommended to novice or careless users because a mistake taken in Registry may pull down the whole system.
Another option for rest of us, DriveHide is a small utility that allows us hide a certain disk just with a click. Simply launch it, all drives on your system will be detected and list out next to checkboxes. Click one you want to hide then logoff and logon to see the effect.
