Convert Videos To AVI Files Using WinFF

WinFF AVI (short for Audio Video Interleave) is a multimedia format developed by Microsoft. It can contains audio, video and both are synchronous altogether. This format is nearly supported by all multimedia players and the quality it brings is quite good on computers while the size is acceptable.

In case you have movies in DVDs and want to keep them in hard disks, WinFF is such a converter you are looking for. Besides converting DVD to AVI, you may also convert other video formats such as FLV, MPEG, MOV, WMV… to AVI.

In fact, WinFF does not do the conversion itself. It is just the GUI for the command line FFMPEG which is far more difficult to use in this era (you hate command line, so do I). The handy feature I like from this application is that you can add multiple files and convert them at once.
